All iZ On Me: Exposing Abuse of Power in Intelligence and Policing

Nikki Adebiyi, Founder of Bounce Black

Our latest campaign is now live!

‘All iZ On Me’ is an anti-disinformation campaign aimed to tell the truth about historical and ongoing abuses of power in state intelligence & policing.

Having been targeted by these kinds of intimidation tactics since 2022, when I quit a dream job-turned-nightmare at NBCUniversal, I have committed myself to exposing the injustice, oppression and corruption inflicted on activists/whistleblowers like myself by crooked cops on the behalf of corporates or powerfully connected individuals with a vendetta.

The terror that has been inflicted on myself and my family, and others with proximity to me, directly or indirectly, has been indescribable. I don’t wish it on anyone, except perhaps those who are perpetrating it. Just last week, the following letter arrived in my mailbox, expressing condolences for the loss of a family member who is, in fact, still alive. In short, my former employer sent me (yet another) veiled death threat by proxy (energy provider).

These wicked schemes thrive in secrecy and silence, so I’m going to be loud, with the hope that would-be participants in harassment take a stand against being proxy puppets for abuse, and that targets & victims would have an easy resource to disseminate for their protection.

If this post crosses your feed, please READ and SHARE it far and wide, especially my colleagues in the mental health professions. Suicide prevention is incomplete without recognition of the grave psychological impact of abuse of power and resources at this level.

It can happen to anyone. Indeed, it does. I am connected with many people (mostly women, and especially Black women) who are being similarly targeted for being outspoken about wrongdoing or for simply doing the right thing.

I’m aware that continuing to speak out puts me in harms way, and I have accepted it. I will not live a life in which I am not free. So, help me and others get free.

Let’s bring this reincarnation of COINTELPRO to light and to an end. FOR GOOD, THIS TIME.

There comes a time when silence is betrayal.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
